Ill play for the first time, should I play the original story or the updated one?

Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West are good games and Alloy is not a bad character but I'm so tired of Sony trying to make Alloy be like a mainstream thing, you can tell they're pushing her on the spotlight like a mascot trying to keep her relevant but like... the games really didn't have much cultural impact after the year it came out

I have this radical opinion that if games can run on previous console then absolutely go for it. Like screw Sony and Microsoft trying to force people to spend money they don’t have. Kinda like when you upgrade your phone you can usually play all the same apps and games on either phone. If times are tough and I get an older phone unless it’s a serious outdated or just trash phone most of the apps will still work. Sucks for gamers on a budget to have to sit out games. Sure the Xbox one and ps4 have limitations and it’s foolish to expect all modern games to not be supported. But come on the switch gets mortal kombat 1 and not Xbox one or ps4.

I don't get why people are saying only now that the Horizon LEGO game is on Switch Alloy could come to Smash. Did everyone forget that Joker was put into Smash before any of the P5 games were on Switch or even announced for it. A character doesn't need to be on the system for the character to make it into Smash Bros.

So, people don't understand how good most of the SMT games are. Remember, the Persona games are SMT games, just with his name stripped out. Those games are based on a series SMT started and they are really good, why wouldn't the games that still have his name be at least just as good?

Remember PS2 lasted an incredible 14 years in America and 15 for Japan officially.

i grew up with the phat model of the ps2, I still occasionally play even today, never a fan of the slim because i grew up with the phat.

I think nintendo, sony, and xbox should wait like 2-3 years then port their games to the other consoles. Makes sense to me. The fan boys can brag for a couple years then get other console games to play and the big companies get more money for their games

SMTV felt a lot better than Persona 5, but I beat Persona 5 and haven't beaten SMTV. It's an interestingly paced game, so whenever I had a break point I would take it and it would become a backlog game.

Got the original for my Switch earlier but I never finished it because of time and other games. Now Im thinking about selling that copy and get it for my Series S I got last year, but Im still not sure because of that price point.

I think expecting Alloy to be in Smash is a stretch when other, better characters haven't like Crash, Spyro, Jak and Daxter, as well as Ratchet and Clank. The whining about Lego Horizons coming to Switch is very hyperbolic. It's just a collaboration that people really are blowing out of proportion while others capitalize on it. If Lego Horizons was ONLY coming out on Switch, I could see issue with that, but that's not what is happening.

I played the heck out of SMT 5 on switch and my copy should be coming in tomorrow. I'm super stoked to play on PS5 and that more peeps can play it!

Feels bad for all the early adopter smt v bros and broettes. Learned my lesson with Atlus ages ago. Never buy the first version.

Everyone i know went from ps4 to pc. Lol we all agreed to go pc. We stuck to the plan and only play ps4 when were bored, but pc was the next best move. And the whole ssd makes know sense since we all have them running in our ps4.😂😂

It is not shocking at all. I don’t get the nonsense. Sony wants Horizon to be a thing. They want to make a Hunger games like franchise out of Horizon. Personally, I think they missed the YA novel film adaptation craze by 15 years or so. The point is, they want to introduce Aloy to young girls. Little girls don’t buy $500 PlayStations. If they have a console or use their brother’s console it’s most likely a Switch. Sony desperately wants to reach tweens and turn them into Horizon fans. If the actual Horizon games would run on Switch, they’d port those too. I think this is a great idea. The PS2 was Sony’s last mass market console. Within a year of its release it’s price WSS slashed to $199. When I bought mine, it cost $199, included Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec, and it was my first DVD player. I bought another non-pack-in game and a couple DVDs, all for under $300. As the price of the PlayStation has gone up, the age of the user has gone up. That’s why all the games are adult oriented narrative walking simulators. Games like Ratchet and Jak and Sly don’t get made for the most part because it’s a crusty old audience. The last Ratchet lost money. If Sony could sell games on the Switch or the Switch too and reach a younger audience, they could justify investing in fun platformers more often. I really hope they continue looking at Nintendo.
